Art of Packaging Award to Go to Clinique
The Pratt Institute and the organizers of Luxe Pack announced Clinique as the 2007 Art of Packaging Award winner. The award will be presented at a black-tie gala on May 22, 2007, at New York City’s University Club. Lynne Greene, president of Clinique Worldwide, will accept the award. Philip Shearer, group present of The Estée Lauder Companies, will also be in attendance to introduce Greene.
The event benefits the Marc Rosen Scholarship for Graduate Design, a Pratt Institute program established 18 years ago. Scholarships are awarded to students who attend the graduate program for cosmetic packaging design. Bottles and packages designed by the 2007 scholarship winners will be displayed at the gala.Previous award recipients include P&G Beauty, Bath & Body Works, The Estée Lauder Companies, Ralph Lauren Fragrances, Calvin Klein, Lancôme, and Avon.
