Laura Mercier Lip Velvet Lip Gloss

Laura Mercier continued its long-standing collaboration with global packaging experts HCT Group, with 2009 heralding the launch of a revolutionary lip gloss formula that hit stores this January.
Lip Velvet is a rich, voluptuous formula packed with moisturizing antioxidants that plump, soothe, and protect stressed lips.

Due to the delicate nature of the formula, HCT designers suggested a unique opaque outer case sprayed in Laura Mercier's signature metallic brown in order to protect the active ingredients from harmful UV light. Color is displayed via an individually shaded integral collar and threaded neck.

Anthony DeMarco, vice president of sales for HCT New Jersey, adds, “Laura Mercier is world-renowned for her intuitive and creative product development. It was quite a challenge to create a pack solution that would protect this formula while allowing sufficient color differentiation.”
