Bath, Body, and Hair Care Packaging: Getting Product Out Easier

It’s always part of a marketer’s goal to make sure that a package eases use—and trying to pour the last few ounces of a thick lotion or a hair care product from a bottle can frustrate a consumer.

An additive by Clariant Masterbatches (McHenry, IL), called CESA-slip, can be mixed with a resin before molding a bottle’s inner walls. The additive makes the inside of the bottle more slippery, preventing viscous liquids from clinging to the inner walls and allowing every last drop of the product to be dispensed effortlessly.
