Made from TV Plastic
A unique three-layer cap was created for Sean John’s new I Am King fragrance. The plastic used to create the cap’s outer layer is the same type of plastic used to make plasma televisions. According to the supplier, the plastic is resistant to alcohol, fragrance oil, and other chemicals. The material is also exceptionally clear, which made it necessary to use special assembly procedures to ensure that no imperfections were visible. Cleanrooms were used to make sure that no dust became trapped in the cap.

Jar Cover
A 70/400 jar cover was custom embossed with the Alterna Professional Haircare logo for the brand’s hair masque product. The cover was decorated with a custom-matched matte gold and shiny silver finish. The project was brought to the supplier by DesignWorx Packaging (Lake Forest, CA), which developed the packaging.

Shiny Silver
A metal cap, collar, and medallion, all made from aluminum anodized in shiny silver, were produced for Versace’s new fragrance for men. The collar was engraved with the Versace name. The top of the cap was also engraved. The medallion, which was attached to the bottle’s front panel, features Versace’s trademark Medusa image.

More than 28,000 closures and caps are available from surplus stock and ready to ship. Styles include container lids, child-resistant caps, collapsible-tube caps, continuous-thread caps, dispensing caps, and metal overcaps. In addition, more than 35 designs are continually stocked as part of the distributor’s wholesale line. Escada Caps
Silver cylindrical caps were produced for Escada’s Moon Sparkle fragrances for men and women. Both ABS caps were electroplated and fitted with a die-cut steel weight and a PP inner. An electroplated ABS collar was also created for the women’s bottle. The firm used 100%-automated high-speed lines to assemble the weights, collars, and inners.
