HCT Packaging Opens Showroom

Supplier HCT Packaging is celebrating several milestone events. The firm recently opened the doors to its new West Coast showroom in Santa Monica, CA. “We’ve devoted more space to showcase our products,” said Nick Gardner, vice president of sales.

The Santa Monica showroom includes a full display of finished packages that the supplier has created for its customers, as well as a library of standard components and the firm’s product formulas.
Meanwhile, HCT Packaging’s East Coast office celebrated the second anniversary of its New York City showroom. “It’s been great having this base in the city strategically located near so many of our major clients,” said Anthony DeMarco, executive vice president. Executive vice president Dennis Anderson added, “Having this showroom has proven to be a tremendous benefit to our clients in the South and Midwest as well.”

The Fragrance Foundation

The Fragrance Foundation has appointed Mary Ellen Lapsansky vice president. Lapsansky has been a part of the organization for 19 years.
Lapsansky has made significant contributions to all events and programs organized by The Fragrance Foundation. She is credited with helping to create such Foundation programs as the Advanced Certification Program and the International Licensing program.
Risdon International

Risdon International has restructured and renamed its recently purchased divisions in Asia. The firm’s metal components division, Decorpart, has been renamed Risdon Metal Asia. The company’s Inmagine plastics division in China has been dubbed Risdon Plastic Asia.
Numerous personnel appointments have been made at Risdon Plastic Asia. Peter Yu is now general manager, Frank Zhang is operations director, Leo Li is production manager, and Jay Lu is finance manager.
Risdon supplies primary packaging components, including fragrance and cosmetic caps; compacts; and mascara, lip gloss, and lipstick containers.
The Estée Lauder Companies

Jane Lauder
Jane Lauder has been named senior vice president and general manager of The
Estée Lauder Companies’ Origins brand. Lauder reports to Jane Hertzmark Hudis,who oversees Estée Lauder’s BeautyBank,Ojon, and Origins brands.
Since July 2006, Lauder had been senior vice president of global marketing for Estée Lauder’s Clinique brand.
Qosmedix

Qosmedix has relocated its corporate offices and warehouse to a larger 43,000-sq-ft facility. The new address is 95-Q Executive Dr., Edgewood, NY 11717-8321.
In addition, the firm has appointed Hui Herskovitz vice president of Qosmedix. Qosmedix specializes in cosmetic components, including jars, spatulas, swabs, and brushes.
Zotos International

Ron Krassin
Hair care brand Zotos International has promoted Ron Krassin to president and CEO. Krassin joined Zotos in 2004 as COO.
Zotos International, wholly owned by Shiseido International Corp., markets such hair care brands as Joicos, Bain de Terre, Re:Nu, and the Vero K-Pak Color Age Defy line.

Ed Shirley, former group president of P&G North America, is now vice chair of the company’s global beauty and grooming division. Steven Bishop, former president of P&G’s North America market operations, succeeded Shirley as president of P&G North America.
International Flavors & Fragrances
(New York, NY)
Douglas J. Wetmore will step down from his position as senior vice president and CFO at the end of July to pursue other career opportunities. The flavor and fragrance firm is currently reviewing candidates to replace him.
