Color Cosmetic Packaging: Other Designs from Suppliers
Dual-Chambered Pot
Topline Products Company, Inc. (Wayne, NJ), has introduced a square version of its dual-chambered Luxe Pot compact. Available in three sizes, the compact is suited for eyeshadow, blush, and powder.
The patented compact contains two compartments: an upper product chamber and a lower compartment to hold an applicator.
The compact can be molded in custom colors and given metallized, soft-touch, matte, or UV-lacquered finishes. Other decorating options include hot-stamping, silk-screening, heat-transfer printing, and tampo printing. The compact pictured features a clear lid that was partially decorated with a heat-transfer image.
Built-In Puff
Product application from a jar is now very convenient thanks to a built-in applicator puff. Cool Cosmetic Packaging (St. George, UT) offers two versions of the jar: a 10-g jar for loose powder, and a 6-g jar for powder blush. The jar’s body is clear in order to display a powder’s color. The jar’s cap can be metallized.
Connectable Bottles
Geka Brush GmbH (Bechhofen, Germany) has launched packages for lip gloss and other cosmetics that allow customers to mix and match shades. A unique connector allows bottles to be snapped on and off. The design is patented.
Stock Option for Lipstick
Rexam (Suresnes, France) is now offering its Visible Lips lipstick container as a stock offering.
The package features a clear cap that allows customers to see a lipstick’s shade. The package’s design is also airtight, making it suitable for isododecane-based formulas, which the supplier says are currently common in lipstick formulations.
