Line Extension

The line also offers plastic bottles in sizes of 2, 6, 8, and 12 oz; tottles in sizes of 50, 125, and 150 ml; glass bottles in sizes of 15, 30, 50, and 100 ml; and 30- and 50-ml glass jars. Pearlescent Finish

Environmentally Friendly PET
Heavy-walled stock bottles can now be produced from 100% postconsumer recycled (PCR) PET resin. The heavy-walled bottles are virtually nonsqueezable and are a good substitute for glass packaging. Besides environmental friendliness, benefits include durability against breakage and denting, light weight, low gas-vapor transmission rates, and good surface aesthetics. PCR PET can be used in any of the supplier’s round and cylinder stock bottle designs, which are available in sizes of 100, 125, 200, and 240 ml. Sleek and Slender
A line of bottles and jars is designed to look refined and slender. Made from polypropylene, the Adina line is cost-efficient and upscale-looking. Bottles are available in sizes of 30, 60, and 120 ml. Jars are offered in sizes of 30 and 50 ml. The bottles and jars can be produced in various colors and can be decorated to look distinctive. Oval Shape
Oval bottles were custom designed by a packaging supplier’s Studio One Eleven in-house design studio. The bottles were created for a relaunch of Beautology Brands’ Charles Worthington hair care line. The 11-oz high-density polyethylene bottles’ back panel features the brand’s custom-embossed “Salon Beautiful” logo, while the bottles’ closures were embossed with the brand’s “London” logo. Heavy-Walled PETE
A supplier specializes in heavy-walled PETE jars and bottles in both custom and stock designs. Using stretch-blow molding, the firm produces bottles ranging in size from 7 to 400 ml. Boston Rounds
In response to growing demand for small- and mid-sized personal care packaging, a supplier has introduced two new sizes of PET Boston Rounds. The 100-ml Boston Round features a 24-400 neck finish and a slim profile. According to the company, the bottle is small enough to comply with current airline carry-on baggage restrictions, but is still two to three times larger than most amenity-sized bottles. The new 6-oz squat Boston Round features a profile and base that are wider than that of traditional Boston Rounds. It is offered in three neck finishes: 24-400, 24-410, and 24-415. To complement its new line of patented nonaerosol foamers, a company has launched 24 new bottles in different styles, shapes, and sizes. The bottles are made from high-density polyethylene and PET. The other new addition is the OSB-series bottle. It features a rectangular base and arched walls. PET bottles are designed to be shatterproof, highly transparent, and a replacement for glass bottles.
