Plastic Hinge for Metal
A supplier has introduced a plastic hinge for its specialty metal containers. The ring-type hinge makes containers easy to lock and unlock, while providing a secure close. Color-Matching Caps, Pumps
A company’s stock fragrance caps can be color-matched with the firm’s pump ferrules and actuators. AnoCaps are available in satiny, matte, or glossy anodized finishes that are both shock and scratch resistant. The caps, ferrules, and actuators are anodized at the same production site and on the same production lines to ensure that the colors and finishes for all components are consistent. Hugo Boss Cap
A complex cap was created for the Femme by Hugo Boss fragrance. The brand had several requirements for the cap—a heavy weight of approximately 90 g, a thickness of up to 21 mm, a transparent finish to show off the Boss logo engraved on the silver pump collar, and an asymmetric cap shape. Combined, these features made the cap a challenge to produce. The cap’s inner sleeve and insert were molded in clear copolyester. The inner sleeve, which covers the pump collar, was then fastened inside the insert, forming a single component. Next, the component was overmolded with crystal copolyester to form the finished cap. Cap Range
A supplier offers an extensive line of custom and stock caps. Cap materials include Surlyn, ABS, and polypropylene.
