WestPack 2007
A look at the upcoming WestPack trade show in Anaheim, California.
The upcoming WestPack show will take place February 13–15 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California. WestPack is produced by Canon Communications llc, parent company of CPC Packaging magazine.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet with experts from companies representing a full range of packaging and processing products, including containers, materials, machinery, components, custom automation technology, software, and robotics.
The WestPack show includes the following pavilions: Cosmetic and Personal Care Packaging, Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical Packaging, and Material Handling & Logistics. A new pavilion called Contract Packaging and Outsourcing Services has also been added. This area will showcase outsourcing services provided by contract manufacturers, package designers, recycling companies, marketing service providers, and shipping companies.
The Cosmetic and Personal Care Packaging Pavilion will include exhibitors that supply bags, blister packs, bottles, boxes, bulk containers, cartons, cases, crates, pouches, protective packaging, trays, tubes, and vials. In addition, attendees can source a full range of packaging materials, including cellophane, coatings, films, foams, foils, glass, metal, paper and paperboard, plastics, resins, and wood. Custom automation and assembly systems will also be on display, including components such as sensors, switches, and motion control equipment.
In addition to WestPack, five other events will be colocated within the Anaheim Convention Center. They are: ATX West, PLASTEC West, Pacific Design & Manufacturing, MD&M West, and Electronics West.
Last year, the Anaheim event concluded with a record-breaking performance. It was estimated that sales in excess of $600 million were generated for the 2045 participating exhibitors.
