Show Coverage: Cosmoprof

Industry professionals looking for the newest trends in beauty packaging are in luck. Cosmoprof North America returns to Las Vegas’s Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center on July 16–18. At the trade show, attendees can view the latest packaging designs from suppliers and beauty product marketers.

Those in the packaging industry will want to visit the show’s Packaging, Contract Manufacturing, and Private-Label Pavilion (Pavilion B). The pavilion will showcase a range of products and technologies for beauty packaging.

Other pavilions at the show include the Cosmetics & Personal Care Pavilion, which will highlight brand-name beauty product companies; the Wellness & Spa Pavilion, which focuses on the skin care and spa industries; and the Professional Hair and Nail Products and Equipment Pavilion, which targets the professional salon industry.

Kless Bottles

A company’s Kless line was fashioned to reflect Italian style. Kless bottles are available in sizes of 30, 50, and 100 ml. Kless jars, which can be provided in sizes of 30 and 50 ml, are produced by the supplier’s Italian partner, Zignago Glass Works. SAN overcaps and dispensing pumps complete the Kless line. Decorative Brush Handle

A cosmetic brush supplier has introduced its newest patent-pending brush design. The brush features a clear acrylic handle, which can display a decorative design inside the plastic. A range of color combinations is available for the handle. The brush’s hairs can be made from natural or synthetic fibers. A range of other brush styles is also offered, with brush hairs made from goat or pony hairs, or synthetic Taklon. All of the brush hairs are animal-cruelty–free. Plastic Tubes

Following the introduction of its innovative one-piece tube in 2004, a cosmetic and personal care packaging supplier recently founded a new Plastic Tube Division. Metal Jar Covers

A firm offers a wide range of stock metal jar covers. Stock designs are available in sizes of 33, 38, 43, 48, 53, 58, 63, 66, 70, and 89 mm, in assorted heights and styles. Established in 1980, a supplier is a member of the Baralan Group (Milan, Italy), a leading provider of stock and custom cosmetic packaging. A line of airless dispensers is suited for a range of cosmetic and personal care products.
