A new color packaging line comprises a lipstick container and two compacts. Inspired by natural and technological elements, the Cool line features elegant curved contours. Pressed-Powder Compact
A new pressed-powder compact features a base with a unique, slanted design. The compact can be produced in ABS or SAN or both. The base and the cover can be made in various colors. Posh Plastic
A supplier provided the primary container for Christian Dior’s new Plastic Gloss lip glosses. The lip gloss bottle features a thick wall injection molded from copolyester. The bottle’s neck was also injection molded from copolyester and was then decorated and sonic welded to the vial. The bottle assembly was coated with a clear UV coating to give it a brilliant appearance and a scuff-resistant finish. The bottle’s ABS cap was plated using the supplier’s newly developed pale-gold finish. The cap features an acetyl rod and a flock-tipped applicator. Crown Risdon, Paris, France.
Roma Range
A supplier is set to unveil a host of new stock packaging ranges. First to be introduced is the Roma collection, which comprises pocket-sized single containers for lip gloss and eye shadow. The line also features multiproduct kits and packages for lip gloss, mascara, and lipstick. Two different looks are offered for the line. An opaque-looking collection can be achieved using ABS or a mixture of SAN/ABS. These packages can also include mirrors. For a transparent look, PCT or PMMA packages, without mirrors, are used. A company specializing in innovative brush pens and pencils also offers compacts and lipstick and mascara cases. Double-ended pens are available in metal and plastic with a variety of applicators.
