Franco Lucá Ing. Erich Pfeiffer GmbH (Radolfzell, Germany) has appointed Franco Lucá to senior vice president, fragrance and cosmetics division. Lucá, previously the company’s vice president of marketing and sales, first joined Pfeiffer in 1990. Lucá also worked for Heinz Glas GmbH as marketing and sales manager.
Pfeiffer has also realigned its marketing and sales division. Its sole marketing director is now Andrea Vollmer. Other appointments in-clude Coralie Bajot, sales director, France fragrance and cosmetics division; Cindy D’Antonio, vice president of cosmetic sales, responsible for sales in North and South America; and Anna Sereni, sales director, fragrance and cosmetics division, in charge of sales in the rest of the world.
Seth Meyer
Seth Meyer has joined IBC/Shell Packaging’s (Lake Success, NY) marketing team as director of business development, Eastern region. With 22 years in the printing and packaging industry, Meyer is experienced in the digital prepress environment through package decorating and finishing.
John Miller has been named executive vice president of cosmetic packaging supplier IntraPac (Don Mills, ON, Canada). Previously vice president of sales and marketing for the company, Miller will assist in the company’s strategic development.
Mike DeFazio
Alpha Packaging (St. Louis), a producer of bottles and jars, has announced several staffing changes. Among them, Mike DeFazio has been named vice president of operations, in charge of production, manufacturing, engineering, and purchasing at Alpha Packaging’s plants in Brooklyn, NY; Salt Lake City; and St. Louis.
In addition, Alpha Packaging has named Sean Sapienza, previously the company’s inside sales
representative, to territory sales accountant for St. Louis and its surrounding areas including Memphis and all of Missouri except Kansas City. Tim Yancey will take over Sapienza’s accounts as inside sales representative.
Sybella A. Wilder has joined sample packaging specialist Arcade Marketing (New York City) as vice president and general manager of the company’s Chattanooga, TN, operations.
Len Rodriguez has joined PolyOne Corp.’s (Cleveland) Color & Additives Masterbatches group as U.S. central region sales manager.
Beauté Prestige International (New York City), a division of Shiseido Cosmetics America Ltd., has announced Abigail H. Sipe as senior marketing manager for the company’s Issey Miyake and Jean Paul Gaultier fragrance brands. She will be responsible for both brands’ development and management.
Exxel Container Inc. (Somerset, NJ) has changed its name to Power Container Corp. The name change is an effect of Exxel Container’s acquisition by Laboratoire Goëmar in February.
Outsourcing Services Group Inc. (Woodcliff Lake, NJ), a contract manufacturer of cosmetics and personal care products, has appointed Russell Dancho as general manager of its Kolmar Laboratories facility in Port Jervis, NY. Dancho will oversee capital improvements being made to the facility, including investment in new equipment.
