Anisa Innovates Decorative Effect
Cosmetic brush specialist Anisa International Inc. (Atlanta) has developed a new way to decorate its high-end, heavyweight brush handles. Made from acrylic, the handles can be produced with solid or multicolor stripes in their cores.
The decorative stripes can be automatically produced in a range of colors. "In addition to putting customer logos on any orientaton on the handle itself by way of screen or pad printing, we can create the [stripes in] color combinations that match a customer's brand colors," says Anisa's John Hunt. He says that Anisa is the only American-owned cosmetic brush factory in China.
The new technique has been patented in China, but is still patent-pending in the United States.
