Show Coverage: Cosmoprof 2004

The stage is set once again for Cosmoprof, the premiere beauty industry trade show. Happening in Bologna, Italy, on April 2-5, the exhibition will include Cosmopack, a pavilion dedicated to cosmetic packaging, raw materials, technology, and services.
Located in Pavilions 19 and 20, Cosmopack will host more than 300 exhibitors. These exhibitors include companies that offer primary components such as bottles, compacts, dispensers, jars, caps, and sample packaging; secondary components like bags and cartons; and accessories including labels, applicators, and brushes. Cosmopack exhibitors will also present their latest in machinery, as well as decorating, contract packaging, and other services.
Comprehensively, Cosmoprof will feature approximately 1800 exhibitors from 40 countries. It is estimated that 125,000 visitors from 117 countries will attend the show.
New developments for the show include the International Pavilion's first Korean Pavilion, featuring key manufacturers in the Korean beauty market. A group of exhibitors will also showcase the latest South African indigenous products, including indigenous herb extracts for salon products.
The show's special presentations include the Accademia del Profumo awards. The awards, which honor the year's top fragrances, will take place on April 2. Also, this year's Cosmoprof Worldwide Beauty Observatory will present global retailing trends in the wellness market.
