Show Coverage: Cosmoprof 2002
Designers, brand managers, and other packaging professionals will be among those attending the 35th international exhibition of perfumery and cosmetics, Cosmoprof 2002. The event will be held March 8–10 in the fairground district of Bologna, Italy. Cosmopack, the show's thematic exhibition for cosmetic, personal care, and fragrance packagers, will be home to more than 250 exhibitors showcasing the latest in components, materials, services, and technologies that beauty companies need to package their products effectively. Dispensing Pumps
Dispensing pumps in a range of styles, finishes, and dosages can be constructed to operate at any angle. Fine-mist pumps and continuous sprayers for fragrance, lotion, and treatment products are among the company's offerings. Flip-Top Jar
A patented bicompartment jar with a flip-top lid is produced using a single mold and a single injection molding machine, eliminating assembly and simplifying the filling process. The lid hermetically seals to the jar when pressed closed, reducing the potential for contamination of the jar's contents. Stock Compacts
Five stock compact lines have been added to a supplier's range of cosmetic and personal care stock packaging. Decorating techniques include lacquering, laser marking, and ultrasonic welding.
