Scented Label
A scratch-and-sniff primary label was provided for bottles housing Schwarzkopf & DEP's Fa body wash and liquid hand soap. The scratch-and-sniff feature, rather than being confined to a small area, covers the entire primary label in the form of scented capsules containing the fragrance. When the label is scratched, the capsules are broken. To ensure that the fragrance capsules would not burst during the labeling process, the fragrance was dried with ultraviolet light. Cone-Shaped Bottle
A slender cone-shaped bottle without a supporting base has been created for Micys Company's Rosa fragrance. Glass with a precise degree of thickness accommodates the dip tube at the bottom of the bottle. Plastic Ampules
Plastic ampules for single-use application are the packages for Blue Copper 5 from Osmotics. Because the skin treatment is a seven-day regimen, each retail package contains seven ampules with 5 ml of product for a single application. The product is sealed in and protected by an inner plastic membrane that breaks when the package is squeezed. A second squeeze dispenses the product. U-Shaped Container
A five-sided U-shaped transparent container without a bottom suspends the Aura Jacomo fragrance bottle. The container, molded from Eastar copolyester, is joined to the painted glass fragrance bottle at the neck. The copolyester provides high dimensional control, making it possible to overcome the difficulties of producing a precise geometric shape out of plastic. DSH Creations chose a stock package for its Passionflower Perfume Poems line of fragrances. The supplier provided a frosted stock glass bottle and a silver stock metal sprayer with a matching silver cap. Metallic Red Case
Revlon chose a metallic cherry-red lipstick case for its Absolutely Fabulous LipCream. The case, coated with a black-tinted UV lacquer on the cap and the base, features the patented Color Touch mechanism. The ColorTouch cartridge, made with styrene and acetal components, provides a smooth, consistent torque, requiring just one revolution to expose the product completely. An antiretraction feature prevents the product from withdrawing back into the base during application. A color chip press-fitted into the base of the case indicates the lipstick shade.
