Minimalist Designs
A packaging supplier has produced components in a sleek design. Packaging with a metallic look was used for the Calvin Klein Cosmetics collection, which includes mascara, brow groomer, lip gloss, and concealer. The products were packaged in anodized aluminum containers with metallized inner bottles. Custom-Designed
Compacts Custom-designed compacts are square-shaped with a precision-molded push button. The lid is printed with a two-pass hot-stamp and features UV-lacquer protection and a high-gloss, scuff-resistant finish. The compacts were recently used for the Dermajetics color cosmetics line, distributed by Herbalife of Los Angeles. Toly Products USA, Edison, NJ.
Plastic Jars
Plastic jars, caps, fitments, and spatulas are tailored for cosmetic applications. Jars, available in sizes from 1Ú32 to 21 oz, include pots, loose- and pressed-powder jars, single- and double-wall creme and treatment jars, compartmentalized jars, and stackable jars. Materials include polypropylene, styrene, and PETG plastics. Various cap options are available, including the companyÕs window-view cap design. Jars and caps can be custom designed to meet the needs of the customer. In-house services include screen and hot-stamp decoration, and UV-curable vacuum metallizing. Stock Packaging
A stock cosmetic packaging was chosen for the Linda Cantello signature collection. The Pure Range design was selected for the cosmetic lineÕs eyeshadow, blush, and pressed- and loose-powder containers in a creme-colored ABS/SAN material blend. The container covers were sprayed with an iridescent finish and silk-screened with a logo. The compact bases were made from a natural ABS/SAN blend and spray-finished with a clear coat.
