Dispensing Adaptor
The Universal Adaptor allows dispensing devices with a limited range of integrated closures to be used on many sizes of bottles and jars. The adaptor consists of a 28mm neck that is welded to a larger cap size. Ranges include 33mm to 160mm.
Leak-Proof Line
The M-PAK line features a tamper and leak-proof locking device on a one-piece spray dispenser. The unit is designed to provide a constant directional metered spray and requires no dust cover. It is sold as a complete package for personal care products. Packaging Concepts Associates Inc.
Spray Fragrance
Thierry Mugler and Issey Miyake have chosen Sof'press to place samples of their fragrances in magazines. The samples are housed in miniature vials with sprays allowing the consumer to try the fragrance just as they would at a beauty counter. Sof'press is collated to a printed page and inserted between the cover and the first inside page. The 0.7-ml size contains approximately 14 sprays.
Foam Pump
Clinique chose the F2 Finger Pump Foamer for its Acne Solutions Cleansing Foam. The F2 Finger Pump provides instant foaming action. The pump can be fully filled and emptied completely due to the angular design of the dip tube, which allows the consumer to use the dispenser at any angle.
Incognito Pump
The Evolution, the new cosmetic pump with soft pumping action, new aesthetics, the ability to dispense a variety of viscous products and a range of doses from 100 to 250 microliters; The Replica, a miniature pump with snap-on and screw-on diameter of 11-mm and under; The Max System, a complete package involving Valois "airless" pumps and Excel aluminum can; and The Incognito Pump, a perfumery pump without a dip tube.
Multi Angle Precision
Pumps dispensing system is injection molded from fully recyclable polyolefin resins with no metal components. A mechanical delivery mechanism is compression fitted to form an airtight vacuum delivery system that features controlled precision dispensing from any angle and a self-sealing actuator that prevents product dryout, oxidation and ambient contamination. Mega Pumps are available in standard round, mini round, standard oval and mini oval bodies with a variety of actuator styles and cap profiles.

Low Profile Pumps
Liz Claiborne has selected low profile pumps featuring The Crimpless System(r) for its new Candie's and Candie's for Men fragrances. The low profile pumps give designers flexibility to create sleek-looking packages that are easily filled, while offering low actuation force and excellent spray characteristics.
Customized Systems
Procter & Gamble has selected fine mist spraying systems and lotion pumps for its new Physique(tm) line of hair care products. Aerosol-dispensed products utilize the VX/Ariane(tm) high-speed, pressure-fill vertical action valve. Non-aerosol products are equipped with the EuroMist(r) fine mist spray. Both delivery systems are integrated with a specialty actuator which features a custom locking mechanism. In its locked position, the actuator orifice is shielded by a protective covering that helps reduce insert clogging and eliminates the need for a protective overcap or hood. The lotion products utilize the EuroFlow up-locking pump. This feature eliminates unwanted dispensing of product during relocking-a condition common to down-locking pumps. The pump also functions as a closed seal system when unlocked, preventing contents from being contaminated through exposure to water or air.
