EasyFoil is a supplier’s newest airless dispenser with a self-sealing orifice. EasyFoil’s standout feature is that it combines the advantages of an aluminum barrier with the ease of filling associated with a cylindrical open pouch. According to the supplier, whereas a traditional aluminum pouch would require special equipment and very delicate handling during the filling process, EasyFoil can easily be filled using standard machinery. The firm’s airless systems have been used by brands such as Origins for its Organics line, Yves Saint Laurent, and Stella McCartney.
EasyFoil is a bottle fitted with a pouch. The pouch is made from an aluminum multilayer film, which comprises an aluminum middle layer, an exterior PET layer, and an inner PP or PE layer—the material of choice depends on the nature of the product to be dispensed. This pouch is rolled up and welded around a ring. The bottle is filled from the bottom, and a bottom cap seals the bottle.
